Abstract
The control system analysis and design approach adopted by R.C. Dorf and R.H. Bishop (1998) and its companion text by R.H. Bishop (1997) is discussed. One important goal is to provide students with an introduction to the process of control system design. A series of steps embodied in a block diagram guides the students through the control system design process. Two examples are presented to highlight the use of the design process block diagram
