Abstract :
Combined efficiency of spatial power combining is always based on simulation results. In order to get exactly value of combined efficiency, this paper proposed the combined efficiency expression of spatial power combining in theory. This expression gives very important reference values in engineering. Discussed combined efficiency with amplitude error and phase error, phase roots mean square error is the most important factor in combined efficiency. Then in order to get more intuition scale to describe the performance of spatial power combining, the combined plus is defined.
