Abstract :
An innovative approach for the optimal matching of independently optimum sum and difference patterns through subarrayed monopulse array is presented. The technique is based on the exploitation of the characteristics of the low side-lobe excitations. The results of a set of numerical experiments are reported to validate the proposed approach pointing out its effectiveness also in comparison with a typical optimal matching technique.
