Abstract :
Using super resolution direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm to reduce the resolution angle is an effective method for passive radar seeker (PRS) to antagonize noncoherent radar decoy. To make use of the polarization information of radar and decoy signals, the diversely polarization array (DPA) is applied to PRS direction finding systems. A comparison is made between the resolution angles of DPA and that of the uniformly polarized array (UPA). Using polarization difference of signals, PRS with DPA has not only better resolution in condition of closely spaced non-coherent sources, but also superior performance in case of correlated sources.
