Abstract :
The capabilities of a 3D microwave imaging system for structural damage detection, using reflection tomographic arrays, are described. Analytical expressions of the image reconstruction procedures are derived and the resolution of the system is investigated. Finally, the preliminary design of a 4/spl times/4 antenna array, which is a part of a whole array, is introduced.
