Abstract :
A high bandwidth biquadrant buck-boost servo amplifier with nonlinear PWM control for a direct-drive flight control actuation system is proposed. In the original H-bridge amplifier control loop, proper feedback compensation fails to enhance the system bandwidth due to nonlinear saturation effect. The design function of the presented circuit is to increase the amplifier´s slew rate by extending its linear operation range. Experimental results show that the system bandwidth is enlarged from 150 Hz to 500 Hz
