Abstract
An alternative approach to the design of a high-efficiency bipolar power supply is to combine the features of a switching regulator with those of a linear regulator. In this paper, we use as linear regulator, a class-AB linear amplifier that works like a linear post-regulator in the linear region. This new topology is suitable for low power levels and has the advantages of a high efficiency, good audiosusceptibility and frequency response
