Abstract
This paper focuses on the implementation solution provided by utilizing the efficient FPGA and DSP resources so as to meet the timings in the crucial application of beam split. Aggressive cost and performance goals have been established for the solution. In this solution, FPGA, which is the key to achieve a pipeline operation in the whole solution, accomplishes data transmission and time sequence control, while the main work of DSP is to implement beam split algorithm. It is shown, in field experiment, that this solution provides excellent performance instability and efficiency.
