Abstract
Public activities have impact on the whole traffic operation system, which require the practitioners to prepare the traffic management plan for those events. In this study, we mainly introduce the process to develop a traffic flow operation design for public activity, and describe some models in the perdition process, especially, put forward the innovative idea of amending the rode impedance function to reflect the impact of traffic information on traveler route choice. Those concepts are incarnated in the practice case represented in the following. The contents describes here may be of interest to traffic management practitioners to solve the problem in traffic operation induced by public activities.
