Abstract :
A video processing model is presented which is designed for real-time stereoscopic display system based on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). The system makes use of image parallax theory and combines some high speed system design technologies. The hardware platform includes image acquisition, processing and display parts. Viewers need a pair of stereo glasses to experience stereoscopic display technology. This design is verified and has some applicable fields. It features real-time, low-cost and easy-feasibility and fills in a gap of displaying high definition timely stereoscopic image with high refresh rate Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel.
