Abstract :
When using public key certificates and PGP keys as trust anchors, a common practice is to verify fingerprints obtained in two different channels by using the cryptographic hash function such as MD5 and SHA-1. This paper proposes several verifying methods with interaction rather than static verification methods and presents some issues.
