Total re-vamp of Cimento Tupi`s clinker production line at the Pedra do Sino plant

The paper describes the original 1600 t/day plant as built in 1976, its modification in 1981, and the complete re-vamping and modernization project in 1992-1993, including five years of operating results and experience since then.
