Abstract
The Futurebus+ is the result of an attempt to create an industry standard computer bus powerful and flexible enough to be viable into the next century. An overview of the power requirements for the bus as set forth in IEEE 896.2-1991 is given. Points that need particular attention are highlighted. A discussion of the most difficult design challenge, i.e., properly supplying the +2.1 V terminator voltage, is presented
