Abstract :
A new H-plane ferrite-filled waveguide transverse slot array is presented in this paper. The rectangular waveguide is partially filled with a ferrite slab, which is transversely biased. By changing the DC biasing magnetic field from 0Oe to 700Oe, the main radiation beam of this linear slot array can be steered from -26.5° to -58° off-broadside. Good VSWR performance is also obtained over a wide frequency range.
