Abstract :
DC Optimal Power Flow (DCOPF) model calculates locational marginal prices (LMPs) in order to optimize the total operation cost of system. Generally, no account is taken for the cost of network topology uncertainty. In this paper, first, a DCOPF algorithm is presented to consider network topology uncertainty. The optimization function algorithm has three items that depend on the line and unit parameters. The linear programming is used for solving this problem. After specifying the result of DC-OPF, with the proposed formulation for LMP, the LMP of each bus, considering network topology uncertainty of power system, is calculated. The proposed method is evaluated using PJM 5-bus test systems as a case study. The results show that the uncertainty in network topology has the considerable effect on the LMP of buses.
