Abstract :
With the popularization of network and the demand of distance education, question answering system becomes an important part in network teaching. Through analyzing defects of the existing question answering system, the paper advances a model of automatic question answering system which based on natural language processing. Based on this model, the paper introduces application theory and framework which are built by question semantic representation and ontology. And it introduces the key technologies: question parsing, construction of knowledge base, answer extracting.
