Abstract :
To detect the target in Passive millimeter wave (PMMW) image, the two-dimensional cell-weighted average constant false alarm rate (2D CWA-CFAR) scheme is proposed in this paper. Based on this CFAR process, the method can detect the target in PMMW images. The measured data of 91.5GHz band and 16-channel millimeter-wave focal plane array imaging system is utilized to evaluate the effectiveness of this algorithm, and the comparison of the target detection algorithm based on the conventional 2D cell averaging constant false alarm rate (2D CA-CFAR)with the proposed algorithm demonstrate the robustness of the algorithm based on CWA-CFAR.
