Abstract :
Developing dependable Cyber-physical systems that operate over large physical areas, like modern traffic management systems, is currently a main challenge. This is because most of the model parameters used for optimized decision making must be identified, collected, and transmitted in realtime over distributed areas. This paper discusses the main services of the architecture supporting real-time, distributed control for traffic management. UML and MARTE descriptions for some of the main services are also discussed.
