  • Abstract
From the perspective of China´s engineering contractors, it studied systematically the main risk factors of international projects based on the analysis of its characteristics. First, in risk identification, the article describes the technology and tools for risk identification. In a systematic study of the extensive literature, it established a fairly complete risk identification Index system by using these tools, which provide a premise for risk analysis. In risk analysis, it selected risk index system scientifically combined qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and used fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. It determined the weight of each index by the improved analytic hierarchy process, and provides results for risk management by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. In risk response, the article introduced measures from risk avoidance, risk control, risk transfer, risk retention, risk monitoring and so on. Finally, it provided empirical examination by an example of specific projects.
