Abstract
A high voltage integrated circuit for building a 10 W offline switching current regulator is presented. The target application is compact, lightweight battery chargers. The VHVIC combines low voltage BiCMOS control circuitry with a 500 V, 10 Ω lateral DMOS transistor. The process technology, circuit design, and device data are described
