Abstract :
Because the communication links in wireless sensor networks are not reliable, this paper proposes a reliable multi-hop transmission algorithm based on optimal selection and forwarding in the wireless sensor network. Firstly, this algorithm computes an ideal point coordinates and determines the forwarding region where the ideal point is the center, according to the location of the current node, the signal-to-noise ratio, the packet length and direction of the destination node. Its goal is to minimize the total hop count. And then it selects the node that has accepted the data packets and is nearest to the destination node for forwarding task. Analysis and simulation show that the algorithm can effectively improve the reliability of multi-hop and avoid the broadcast storm.
