Abstract
An interactive computer program which accurately simulates the behavior of single- and three-phase closed-loop phase-controlled rectifiers operating in both the periodic-steady-state and transient conditions is described. An analysis of the simulation waveforms provides the user with a complete and accurate description of rectifier performance as a function of rectifier and controller design. Using this program, the rectifier design most closely suited to a given set of requirements can be found easily and quickly
