Abstract
This paper addresses the stabilization problem of the class of linear descriptor systems. A static output feedback controller, that makes the closed-loop dynamics of this class of systems regular, impulse-free and stable, is designed. The gain of this controller is the solution of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A numerical example is provided to show the usefulness of the developed results.
