Abstract :
The small-signal analysis of an energy-recovery buck-derived power converter is presented. This converter derives its input voltage from an energy storage reservoir capacitor and returns the stored energy to the respective DC bus. A prototype built to recover energy from a full scale 150 kVA PWM gate-turnoff (GTO) inverter is used to prove the proposed analytical model
