Abstract
This paper studies the theoretical and empirical issues of the optimization-effect of supply-chain in horizontal M&A. It studies the impacts of horizontal M&A on improving the efficiency of supply chain management, optimizing supply chain structure and achieving economies of scale in overall costs of supply chain. The paper indicates that M&A is a kind of supply chain optimization management means, and enterprises should pay more attention to the changes of supply chain during M&A.
