Abstract :
In this article, we propose a new design of a broadband CP (circular polarized) printed circular ring slot antenna. In the proposed design, a 3 dB axial-ratio CP bandwidth of about 6% has been obtained. In addition, the CP performance of the proposed antenna can be adjusted by changing the value of the chip resistor loading. Antenna designs and typical experimental results of the proposed antenna are shown and discussed.
