Abstract :
This paper describes the development of a miniaturized 300-MHz band antenna that is effective for small wireless sensor nodes for human and animal health monitoring. We have proposed a new concept of antenna miniaturization using magnetic materials and optimized the design of the new antenna taking the advantage of 3 dimensional full-wave electromagnetic field simulations. Also, its fabrication process including the machining of ferrite substrates and mask-less printing has been developed.
