  • Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of design journal on students´ robotics learning and problem solving. There are forty-four junior high school students participated in this study. The quasi-experimental design was applied in the study. The result of the study found that students´ knowledge about robotics was enhanced during the robotics learning activities. However, there is no significant difference on the posttest scores between control and experimental groups. Additionally, the study found that the students in the experimental group complete the mission significantly fast than the students in the control group. The study found that reflective strategies, such as: writing the design journal was beneficial for students´ problem loving in the robotics learning.
