Abstract
The goal of this paper is to address management problem of battery storage system in PEM fuel cell based hybrid power sources. Our idea of design is to utilize “feedback control” mechanism to handle possible dynamic uncertainty of hybrid power source introduced by battery failure or insert of a new battery. The detailed battery model and the converter model are derived to facilitate the development of dynamic optimal management algorithm. Simulation results are also given.
