  • Abstract
The purpose of this study is to measure T2-relaxation time of metabolite peak in human gastric tissue using ex vivo 1H magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (MRSI or chemical shift imaging: CSI), and to assess the clinical usefulness. Also, T2-relaxation time map was compared with biochemical metabolite map. T2-relaxation time of metabolite peak at 1.33 ppm, lipid methylene, were calculated pixel by pixel. T2 map of metabolite peak was compared to the metabolite-peak intensity map.
