Abstract :
Considering frequency-selective channels, this paper studies efficient linear block precoding algorithm for cyclic-prefix-based multi-point transmission with individual antenna power constraints under capacity maximization criteria. A lower complexity precoding method with near-optimal performance is proposed. The method is based on convex approximation which is asymptotically optimal as the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) increases. Simulation results show that the proposed method can achieve near-optimal performance in the general SNR region of interest while it has a much lower complexity as compared with the existing local search method.
