Abstract :
With the deterioration of global climate, how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions gradually becomes a hot research topic. In addition, traffic jam phenomenon is more and more serious in large and medium-sized cities in recent years, which makes it important to efficiently solve the problem of traffic jam. This paper attempts to improve traffic jam under low carbon economy by exploring the traffic mode of highway surrounding inter-city. The concept and implementation processes of low carbon traffic have been tentatively summarized, and a new city highway traffic mode has been put forward from urban traffic planning perspective. Current study effectively improves existing traffic problems to make urban traffic smooth, and to promote the development of energy saving and emission reduction during transportation.
