Abstract
The harmful effects of microwave radiation enforced specialists to study leakage from different forms of microwave applicators in order to save workers as well as users and professionals. In this paper, investigations are carried out to make three dimensional imaging of electromagnetic leakage from a cylindrical applicator. A suitable function for continuation and smoothing the samples is chosen, as well as a filter transfer function. The results of a computer simulation aimed at demonstrating the imaging technique are reported. The high resolution capability of this new mode of imaging is illustrated for a frequency of 2.45 GHz.
