Abstract :
For less errors existing in ultimate result of reconstruction, this paper implement the ordinary voxel coloring in HLS space instead of RGB used in original methods and propose the surface recovering algorithm to revert the voxels which had been removed inaccurately by the ordinary voxel coloring algorithm. Besides, a parallel voxel coloring algorithm also has been developed to improve the efficiency of original algorithm. The results have show our method have a improvement in efficiency and accuracy to Archambault, D. Our work made 3D voxel coloring reconstruction feasible to be expanded to a more extensive applications scope.
