Abstract :
In the quadratic-mean averaging (QMA) operators have been proposed to overcome the drawbacks of the T-operators and the existing averaging operators (i.e., P-Norm operators, Infinite-One operators, Waller-Kraft operators, GMA operators and WPMA operators) to deal with fuzzy information retrieval of the AND and OR operations. However, the QMA operators can not deal with queries represented by generalized fuzzy numbers and interval-valued fuzzy numbers. In this research, we present generalized fuzzy-number quadratic-mean averaging (GFNQMA) operators to deal with queries based on generalized fuzzy numbers and interval-valued fuzzy numbers.
