  • Abstract
To increase the airspace utilization, the standard of air route width was constituted by researching the laws of flight path error distribution. On the basis of analyzing ADS-B(Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) data along A593 air route, the paper build statistical samples. The methods of Quantile-Quantile plot were proposed to put normal distribution test on the data. Then, a statistics based on parameters estimation was used to calculate flight path error. Get the distribution under 3 Standard deviation capacities and compare the distribution in different time periods. The result shows that the deviated distance between aircraft position and airway centerline obeys the normal distribution, which less than air route width standard. It is helpful for the further research on flight safety separation based on ADS-B.
