Abstract :
This paper presented that intrusion detection is an effective technique to protect Web server. Misused-based intrusion detection is used to detect Web-based attacks. It went deeply into Decision Tree technique; the traditional misused-based matching method was improved by using decision tree technique and the speed of detection process has been significantly improved. Its efficiency was verified by example.
