Abstract :
A rectangular cavity backed S-type slot antenna is proposed and the characteristics with the various antenna parameters are investigated The method of moments(MoM) is used to calculate the input impedance, VSWR, radiation pattern where the effects of the cavity is taken into account. The VSWR bandwidth (/spl les/2) of 23% is obtained. The measured and numerical results are in good agreement.
