Abstract :
There is a desire in the medium voltage motor industry to have insulation system options, based on mica tape and VPI resin materials available. The authors are running assessment of various styles of mica tapes for use in a 6 kV motor. This assessment continues to examine mica tape options and out of motor assessment methodologies.
