Abstract
The polynomial interpolation (PI) method is one of the most suitable symbolic analysis techniques for the computation of linear transfer functions when the only circuit variable is the complex frequency p. In this article, we present improvements to the PI method so that it may be used for the computation of network functions in a fully symbolic form, using only numerical algorithms. We provide examples of how to use the new approach to directly determine the microwave performances, such as the scattering parameters, of given networks
