Abstract
The shape of the partial discharge magnitude depends on the shape of voids and atmospheric conditions. Therefore, the degradation of insulating material due to the partial discharge is complex. Several experimental investigations have been reported on effects on various conditions of shape of void and an atmospheric condition using an artificial void. However, there are many causes still unclear; the effect of moisture is one of these causes The object of this work is to investigate the degradation process of polymer materials under various humidity conditions in a void. For this purpose the discharge degradation products and the discharge magnitude were measured simultaneously
