Abstract
Light emission from preflashover on dielectrics materials (Alumina and PMMA) in vacuum is observed with a fiber optic bundle linked spectroscopic system. It is found that preflashover spectrum depends on the dielectric material used, indicating that the radiative phenomena from preflashover is related to solid material properties
