Abstract
This paper deals with the design, simulations and preliminary results of a high speed circuit, hereafter called MIN-MAX circuit. The device is a mixed analog-digital four input circuit designed using 1.0 μM CMOS technology and it has been built by the ES2 silicon foundry. The circuit can be particularly useful for fuzzy architectures. The core of the final layout is very small (190 μm×190 μm including shielding rings) and it can be extended to a larger number of inputs
