Current Status and Solutions Towards the Construction and Sharing of Digital Educational Resources in Colleges and Universities

Informatization is an effective way to promote the reform of higher education and improve the quality of it. This study was carried out in Guangdong Province by conducting survey on the current status towards construction and sharing of digital educational resources in colleges and universities. As the result, it showed that the construction of digital educational resources is comparatively large in scale and is relatively rich in species. It also revealed that the sharing and application of the resources is widely used within campus and emerging outside campus. In addition, it indicated that the teachers´ training for ICT competence is of some effect with diverse topics and flexible forms. However, there are still some existing problems on construction and sharing of resources, mechanism and training services. Accordingly, this study proposed some solutions to the problems.
