Abstract :
Presents issues, challenges and promises that formed the basis for a symposium on commercial microgravities technologies. They are focused on two themes: structured-based drug design, and biomedical/bioprocessing experiments. The symposium consisted of a series of invited presentations in three sessions. Each session included a panel discussion with strong audience participation. Shortly after the symposium was concluded a report was issued that contained the technical presentations and the conclusions and findings generated by the discussions
