  • Abstract
The exploratory approach to ECG analysis described here acts to: 1) free the analysis from underlying assumptions regarding signal distributions; 2) defines a generalized statistic-the prototype and a representation that is linear only in rank, not in signal space; and 3) defines a generalized notion of stationarity and similarity that is independent of the underlying signals
