Abstract :
Classical policy DNS service can return different resource records depending on different IP range. It doesn´t support the time range, the target domain and forwarder policy rules. DNS service cluster is built on a virtualization server platform (VSP), composed of Database Node, Controller Node, Listener Node, Service Node and Standby Node. Nodes network can handle complex set of policy, and implements multi-layer high-availability service. VSP provides redundant physical servers, meanwhile key nodes offer multi-machine service. Controller automatically monitors nodes and supports real-time failover. Experimental results show that the DNS Service Cluster has higher Successful Query Rate and reduces failover time compared to the Real Servers.
