Abstract :
This article reports the usage of laser speckle to identify papers by making use of unique microstructure of each part of the papers. The experiments were carried out by shooting a beam of laser onto the surface of the papers. The microscopic patterns of speckles were captured using CCD Camera and the images were digitally processed to perform paper authentication.
