Abstract
A three-dimensional wave propagation simulator based on ray-tracing algorithm has been developed to calculate wave propagation in the scaled model of urban areas. The simulated results will be verified and improved by comparing them to those from the scaled model measurement system. The electrical parameters of building material like permittivity and conductivity are considered as well as physical parameters. The ray-tracing simulation considers transmitted rays through the buildings and also diffracted rays as well as reflected rays from objects and ground.
