Abstract
In order to observe the novel optical property of left-handed meta-material (LHM), we fabricated various patterned samples with 180 nm line width, which could be operated in near-IR region. The incident light source was conducted by an optical fiber and shone on the sample surface, and then the interaction light was collected with lensed-fiber. The collected output signals were transferred into a broad-band spectrometer for further analyzed. While comparing with a result of FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared spectrometer) measurement in it, some of interesting behaviors were found and verified.
